it has really been a long time since I have been on here and a lot has happened in the world. i will attempt to catch up. i'm going to start not with Trayvon or the health care arguments in the supreme court but with March 21, when Shaima al Alawadi was murdered in her home in California. She was 32 and the mother of five. Her murderer left a note next to her body that said she should go back to her country and called her a terrorist. The "news" - 24 hours news cycle, has just started picking up this story. But if this doesn't reflect the state of america, i don't know what does.
